Drone video over Gaston, Oregon.

Crimson Clover is an interesting crop. It’s planted because the root system builds soil. It prevents nutrient runoff and attracts precipitation the soil. Crimson Clover is often grown in the Gaston area, and the seeds are harvested and sold elsewhere. It brings nutrients deep in the soil, so it’s often grown as a cover crop early in the season to prep the soil for other crops.

For folks in Gaston, it means we get to see bright red fields for a few weeks. I decided to shoot some video of it. It’s incredible to look at every day.

Recorded in 4k at 24FPS with a DJI Mavic Air2S.
